Lead operations
Why dealership leads go cold before the first follow-up
The problem is rarely a lack of enquiries. It is the broken hand-off between campaign, WhatsApp, ownership, and the next action.

A buyer can move from an ad to a vehicle page and into WhatsApp in minutes. Inside the dealership, that same enquiry can lose its context just as quickly. The useful question is not only how many leads arrived, but whether each lead reached a person, with the right vehicle and a clear next action attached.
The hand-off is the real conversion point
Campaigns create attention, but operations decide whether that attention becomes a conversation. When the marketing source, requested vehicle, buyer message, and assigned salesperson live in separate places, the first response begins with missing information.
A stronger workflow treats every enquiry as one connected record from the first click. The sales team should see what the buyer saw, what they asked, and what must happen next without rebuilding the story manually.
Give every enquiry three things
The first operating standard can be simple. Every enquiry needs an owner, a visible stage, and a dated next action. If one of those is missing, the lead is already relying on memory.
- An owner who is responsible for the next response.
- A stage that shows whether the buyer is new, contacted, qualified, visiting, negotiating, or closed.
- A next action with enough context for another team member to continue the conversation.
WhatsApp should preserve context, not become another inbox
WhatsApp is often the fastest route to the buyer, but speed alone does not create a reliable process. Templates should help the team respond consistently while the lead record preserves vehicle interest, source, ownership, and follow-up history.
The objective is not to automate every conversation. It is to remove the gaps that force buyers to repeat themselves and sales teams to search across tools.
Start with visibility before adding complexity
Before adding more campaigns, make the existing path observable. Map where enquiries enter, who receives them, how ownership is assigned, and where the next action is recorded. The smallest connected workflow is more useful than a large system the team cannot maintain.
